Broadway Stars 1 | Beginner         
FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS IN GRADES 2&3
Thursdays, 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. | Full year course
Starts the week of October 22 and runs until May 2019
$450/session (2 sessions | Students must attend both sessions)

New this year, we are offering a beginner Broadway Stars class for NEW students only who are in grades 2 & 3. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of theatre and will begin their training in three disciplines- singing, acting and dancing. Our overall goals, through the use of Art Education, are: enhanced speaking ability, better listening skills, improved reading comprehension, increased confidence, a developed sense of empathy and a clear understanding how important teamwork is.

This intermediate Broadway Stars class is for RETURNING students in grades 3 & new and returning students in grade 4. This program offers training in classic and contemporary Broadway musical theatre and culminates with an end of year showcase. In addition to the performing arts training, our goals are to help students develop many important life skills such as: teamwork, empathy, positive self-esteem and improved confidence.

For teens who want to expand their love of musical theatre, Broadway and Beyond is where the serious young actor comes to take their game to the highest level and learns what it takes to put on a professional level production. Previous shows include: Into the Woods and Captain Aurora: A Superhero Musical.


YAYA Kids (Young Actors for Young Audiences)

FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 2-5
Wednesdays, 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. | Full year course

SHINING LIGHTS | Intermediate

FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 4-6
Thursdays, 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. | Full year course
Starts the week of October 22 and runs until June 2019
$500/session (2 sessions | Students must attend both sessions) + $50 one time costume fee
Classes to take place at Hebrew Foundation School located at 2 Rue Hope, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (QC) H9A 2K2


In this new intermediate class, students will explore characterization, movement, body language, and voice projection. Students will learn how to approach text and perform confidently for an audience. The course will have a strong focus on musical theatre. Students will develop interpersonal skills and problem solving capabilities through group interaction and artistic collaboration. The program will culminate in an end of year performance that will take place at the Segal Centre.
